Gabriela, a Heritage Lyceum student, says about the A Level program at Heritage Lyceum:
“For my A Level subjects, I chose to study Sociology, History, Law, Business and English. The subject content is extremely interesting, and each subject brings so much knowledge, which I believe is crucial to possess nowadays.
I chose to study the A Level curriculum over our national Baccalaureate simply because of its possibility to study the subjects you are interested in, as well as the flexibility to test yourself in many different fields.
What surprised me was the range of subjects the Cambridge International program provides to students. Choosing the subjects was a difficult task, but fun overall, as you get to envision yourself studying these subjects in grade 11.
Personally, I feel like A Level is one of the best programmes I could ever study. It is because I learn what I’m truly passionate about, and I get to spend my time focusing on developing my skills in the one particular field that I want to develop further in my career.
Overall, the programme allows students to understand what the future holds for them, and helps them understand whether a certain career path is suitable for them, which I believe is critical for teenagers and soon to be young adults.”
