From the moment I first learned of Heritage International School, I was inspired by its clear sense of purpose, vision, and identity. I have since followed its journey with admiration and I am honoured to now step into the role of Director. I am excited to join this vibrant community and look forward to supporting all our students and staff, while partnering with our families and wider community to ensure continually improving learning provisions, innovation, and academic excellence.
At Heritage we aim to ensure that our students have the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding, while developing the attitudes, perspectives, and values to enact the Heritage mission. This mission aims for our students to contribute meaningfully to the world and to become responsible, confident global citizens and leaders in their local and international communities. As the world continues to change at an accelerating rate, the education we provide must equip students for the present as well as the challenges of an uncertain future.
We have strong academic, values-based, and belonging programmes at Heritage and as a new leader in the school, my role is to build on the exceptional work of my predecessors. This will begin with listening deeply to our community of students, staff, and families, so that I may gain an understanding of what makes Heritage so unique and how we can continue to strengthen our academic and student experience together.
At Heritage, we believe that every student is a motivated and passionate learner, eager to explore and grow. Our teaching embraces this enthusiasm by fostering an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. We are dedicated to providing learning experiences that inspire students to take ownership of their education and become lifelong learners.
As we look to the future, I am confident that together we will equip our students with resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of purpose. I am eager to work closely with our students, families, and educators to build a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking community.
