ARTS AND CREATIVE ACTIVITIES

ARTS (ENG, ROM, RUS)

The students are encouraged to express their thoughts through art and discover their individuality. Art education teaches students how to interpret, criticize, and use visual information, and how to make choices based on it.





 

 

CRAFT (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Students develop their fine motor skills and creativity. They design, construct and decorate items using various materials and techniques. By doing something creative, the child is encouraged to build self-expression skills and express their feelings (and cope with emotions). It helps the student enrich imagination and experience the joy of self-expression.




 

DRAMA (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Drama helps children realize their individual potential, develop communication and language skills, develops emotional intelligence, encourages communication and cooperation among the students. The main purpose is the discovery, awareness and free expression of feelings and emotions, a clear and better communication with others.


 

 


BALLET (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Ballet and stretching is a chance for your child to enjoy growth and achievement, see the results of work with their body, muscles, balance and agility. Work in a ballet studio requires individual attention to each child and our teachers will make sure that your child will develop their skills to the maximum of their potential and learn to enjoy the beauty of classical dance.


 

DANCE (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Dancing is a great form of exercise that has physical, mental, and emotional benefits. It helps children improve their social and communication skills, learn how to work as part of a team, develop a greater sense of trust and cooperation, and make new friends.




 

 

SINGING (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Singing is one activity that gets different parts of your kids' brain running. This activity has an impact on fine motor behaviour, visual imagery, language and emotions. It helps the students speak more clearly, learn a greater variety of vocabulary, develops the memory, and encourages children to express themselves.




 

GUITAR (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Learning to play the guitar can be a great advantage for children: it boosts confidence and helps discover new cultures. Guitar lessons also help develop children’s self-discipline, improving focus, intelligence, and motor skills.


 




 

ARCHITECTURE (ENG, ROM, RUS)

The Architecture Club instils in children an understanding of architecture and design. Children learn interesting facts about the world's most famous buildings, create their detailed LEGO bricks models, learn to draw projects of these buildings and learn new architecture terms and principles.





 

MUSE (ENG)

Literary Magazine is a Heritage extra-curricular for student writers and photographers/artists of all kinds! Upper School students collect and select materials for publication twice per year. The student members of the organization select leaders and take roles as selection editors, publishers, layout managers and such.



 

 

DRUMS (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Playing the drums can help children express themselves and get in touch with their emotional state. While drumming children strengthen their ability to focus and work on impulse control and decision-making skills. Research shows drumming to have a positive impact on cognitive development. Whether it’s listening skills, memory skills or fine motor skills, rhythm training comes with major benefits that can be applied in the classroom.

 

 

BOARD GAMES (ENG, ROM, RUS)

Board games encourage exploration and develop problem-solving skills. It is an easy and effective way to encourage healthy brain development in kids and teens.







 

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (ENG)

Dungeons and Dragons is a widely-known tabletop role-playing game. Playing the game helps students develop important key skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, and social skills. Participation in narrative role play opens up interests in topics such as mathematics, science, history, culture, ethics and critical reading.
