On Friday, November 14th at 4:00 PM, Heritage International School is creating one of those moments, when we host our very first educational music event with Moldo Crescendo, the acclaimed initiative by pianist Marcel Lazăr that has been transforming how Moldovans experience classical music.
Forget everything you think you know about classical music concerts. The rigid chairs and the formal atmosphere. This is different.
Students will be close to the musicians, close enough to see how their hands move, to hear the stories behind the music, to ask the questions they've always wondered about. They'll discover that the gap between them and classical music is much, much smaller than anyone told them.
Marcel Lazăr built Moldo Crescendo on one simple idea: world-class music shouldn't be locked away in expensive concert halls. It should be here, where young people are, breaking down every barrier between them and beauty.
The event is for teenagers 12+. For the musicians and the curious ones. For those who think classical music "isn't for them", yes, especially for them. And for our whole Heritage community, because moments like this are better when we create them together.
