Heritage launches the 2026-2027 “Heritage Scholarships” program and offers students in Moldova the opportunity to study in an international educational environment

Heritage International School announces the launch of the 8th edition of the “Heritage Scholarships” Program for the 2026–2027 academic year and invites the most ambitious and dedicated students in the Republic of Moldova to apply. This is an extraordinary opportunity to receive up to 100% coverage of tuition fees and free access to Heritage’s extracurricular clubs. Families of scholarship recipients will cover the costs of the school uniform, meals, transportation (where applicable), required textbooks, examination fees (where applicable), and participation in trips or activities outside the school.

Who can apply?

  1. Applicants for the Heritage scholarships must be citizens of the Republic of Moldova.

  2. Students from outside Heritage School who, during the 2026-2027 academic year, will study in one of the following levels:

  • grades 7 and 8 (instruction in Romanian or Russian);
  • IGCSE 1, IGCSE 2, AS, or A Level classes (taught in English). Only students who meet all of the following conditions may participate: they have obtained or renewed their scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, have completed the 2025-2026 academic year at Heritage as scholarship recipients, and wish to renew their scholarship status for the 2026-2027 academic year.
  1. Heritage School students who, during the 2026-2027 academic year, will study in one of the following levels:

  • grades 7 and 8  (instruction in Romanian or Russian);
  • grades 7, 8, 9, IGCSE 1, IGCSE 2, AS and A Level with instruction in English. Eligible students are those who, during the 2025-2026 academic year:
    - ​​​​​​​studied in the Cambridge program taught in English;
    - completed Grade 9 with instruction in Romanian or Russian.

Applicants must meet several important criteria:

  • have a minimum overall average grade of 9.5 for the last two academic years;
  • ​​​​​​​demonstrate academic excellence through participation and achievements in national or international olympiads and competitions;
  • ​​​​​​​be actively involved in extracurricular activities, social projects, or volunteering initiatives that can be confirmed through official documents;
  • have an advanced level of English, with a minimum average grade of 9.5 in English over the last two academic years.

​​​​​​​How does the competition take place? The programme includes two selection stages.

Stage I – Evaluation of files: 15-26 June 2026

Applications will be carefully evaluated, and students shortlisted during this stage will be invited to an interview.

Stage II – The interview: 29 June - 3 July 2026

The interviews will take place online and will include:

  • a creative self-presentation by the candidate;
  • ​​​​​​​a question-and-answer session with members of the Expert Committee.

During the interview, candidates will be evaluated based on their communication skills, originality of responses, creativity, and ability to present themselves confidently in public.

Application Deadline

Applications can be submitted online by parents of participating students until 14 June 2026, 23:59. The full list of required documents, as well as additional details regarding the application procedure, can be found in the Program Regulations.

The final results will be announced on 6 July 2026 on the school’s official website www.heritage.md (News section) and by email to the parents of the selected scholarship recipients.
