Heritage International School launches the 2024-2025 edition of the “Heritage Scholarships” Program and offers 8 scholarships to students from the Republic of Moldova (3 of them from Heritage and 5 from other educational institutions in the country). The most tenacious and ambitious students from the Republic of Moldova are invited to take this extraordinary opportunity to benefit from up to 100% tuition fee coverage and free attendance of Heritage extracurricular clubs. The families of the beneficiary students will cover the costs of school uniforms, meals, transportation, necessary books, exams (if applicable) and participation in trips or extracurricular activities.
Criteria for participation in the contest
In order to participate in the 2024-2025 “Heritage Scholarship” Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✔ to be citizens of the Republic of Moldova;
✔ non-Heritage students, who will be studying in the 2024-2025 academic year in the 7th, 8th or 9th grade in Romanian or Russian, or in the classes related to the IGCSE-2 level studied in English, which can only be attended by students who have obtained the Heritage scholarship in the 2023-2024 academic year and want to reconfirm their Heritage scholarship status in the 2024-2025 academic year;
✔ Heritage students, who are going to study in the 2024-2025 academic year in the 7th, 8th or 9th grade in Romanian or Russian, or in the 7th, 8th or 9th grades, IGCSE 1, IGCSE 2, AS level and A level in English (if in the 2023-2024 academic year the student completed the class studied in English);
✔ to have a remarkable academic record (the average grade for the last 2 years should not be less than 9.5);
✔ to present confirmations of participation in various academic activities (Olympiads, national and international competitions);
✔ to have a rich extracurricular activity, including participation in various volunteer activities (which can be confirmed by official documents);
✔ to have an advanced level of English.
The main objectives of the Program are to facilitate students' access to a quality education, to support the academic and extracurricular performances of the best students in the Republic of Moldova and to promote education at international standards.
The stages of the contest
Stage I – File submission: until June 16, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
The deadline for file submission is extended until June 19, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
Stage II – Evaluation of files: June 17-30, 2024
Stage III – The interview: July 1-12, 2024
Stage IV – Announcement of results: July 15, 2024
