Every school year, Heritage International School offers students the unique chance to earn a scholarship. The most tenacious and ambitious students from the Republic of Moldova are invited to take this extraordinary opportunity to benefit from up to 100% tuition fee coverage and free attendance of Heritage extracurricular clubs.
To be eligible for the 2025-2026 “Heritage Scholarships” Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- To be citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
- Non-Heritage students who, in the academic year 2025-2026, will study in one of the following levels:
- grades 7 and 8 (instruction in Romanian or Russian);
- IGCSE 2, AS, and A Level with instruction in English (in this case, only students who joined Heritage as scholarship recipients in the 2024–2025 school year and wish to reconfirm their scholarship status for 2025–2026 are eligible).
- Heritage students who, in the academic year 2025-2026, will study in one of the following levels:
- grades 7 and 8 with instruction in Romanian or Russian;
- grades 7, 8, 9, IGCSE 1, IGCSE 2, AS, and A Level with instruction in English (eligible students must have studied in the Cambridge English-language program during the 2024–2025 school year, or must have completed Grade 9 in Romanian or Russian).
- Strong academic performance – the average grade over the last two academic years must be no lower than 9.5, and candidates must provide proof of participation in academic activities (e.g., Olympiads, national and international competitions).
- Rich extracurricular activity, including volunteering, supported by official documentation.
- Advanced level of English. The average grade in English over the last two academic years must be at least 9.5.
The following candidates are NOT eligible for this Program:
→ students who are not citizens of the Republic of Moldova;
→ students in a different grade than those listed above;
→ students who do not meet the mandatory participation requirements;
→ students who hold other scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The main objectives of the Program are to facilitate students' access to a quality education, to support the academic and extracurricular performances of the best students in the Republic of Moldova and to promote education at international standards.
The stages of the contest
Stage I – File submission: until June 15, 2025, 11:59 p.m.
- Candidates’ documents will be submitted online by their parent/guardian.
- The file will contain personal documents, confirmatory evidence of school records, extraordinary academic and non-educational achievements, letter of intent.
- The complete list of required documents, as well as other requirements regarding the file submission procedure, can be found in the Program Regulations.
Stage II – Evaluation of files: June 16-20, 2025
- The files will be carefully evaluated, and the students pre-selected at this stage of the competition will be invited for an interview.
Stage III – The interview: June 23-26, 2025
- Those selected for the interview will be invited to present themselves in a creative way and will answer a set of questions (based on the information provided in the file) in order to assess the student’s knowledge, coherence of speech, originality of answers, as well as their level of English.
Stage IV – Announcement of results: July 1, 2025
- The winners of the 2025-2026 "Heritage Scholarships" Program will be designated candidates who obtained the highest total score in all stages of the scholarship competition.
- The results will be announced on July 1, 2025, through an announcement published on the www.heritage.md website (News section) and on the email of the winners' parents.
