The skills and abilities children need in order to integrate and succeed in the century of innovation must be developed in school, and teachers play an important role in this process. Because at Heritage International School we focus on innovative, research-based educational practices, our teachers are constantly improving their pedagogical process, and students get the necessary support in developing their personality.
They are working with dedication even on holidays, and recently, Heritage teachers participated in a seminar on “The Future of Education and Transdisciplinary Learning”, held in Sibiu, Romania, at the Finnish Teacher Training Center, in partnership with EduStudio Helsinki. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with successfully implemented practices in Finland, where the educational system is recognized as one of the best in the world, and the students are at the forefront of international academic competitions.
The teachers of Heritage Internaional School have interacted with nearly 20 colleagues coming from several cities in Romania, such as Buzau, Constanta, Cluj, Targu-Mures, Bucharest, and shared their opinions on the skills the children of the century of innovations need and the role of the school in their effective development.
Participating in international conferences and seminars provides the teachers a better training and creates a clear and comprehensive vision of the educational system, and Heritage learners are the first to benefit from the practices which have been successfully tested internationally.
