The first and only Cambridge School of Moldova continues its noble mission – to educate a generation of righteous personalities, happy and endowed with universal skills! On September 3, the Heritage students stepped back into the their beloved school, eager to continue their journey into the fascinating world of knowledge.
 
Of course, the most exciting moment was the reception of new members of the Heritage community – the first grade learners and their parents. In the new school year Heritage International School expanded with three classes 1, which once again confirms that the ambitious idea to innovate the educational system in Moldova resonated with the wishes of many parents. Prior to the first lesson, the Heritage administration, in the person of the school director, addressed a welcome message to the disciples. Ms. Bogdanka Adamu wanted to greet them and encourage the youngest pupils, who are going through a very exciting time.
 
Bogdanka Adamu, director, Heritage International School: “To many of you, to our children in Class 1 and their families – this ceremony marks your first step to the unique world of learning. Today you are all entering the magic of Heritage, the one school where your dreams will find their realization as you have selected for yourselves the distinct path of holistic education with a global touch. The heartbeat of Heritage is in its children, in the way they feel, think and communicate, in their behaviour and attitudes. During the past year all of us here at Heritage gained in experience. We understand better, act better and succeed better in fulfilling our mission to create a generation of young learners and a community of individuals who will live up to their responsibility to ensure the preservation of our world.”
 
The first day of school was a good opportunity to start a tradition that will symbolize the perpetuation of “Heritage generations”. During a festive ceremony, 8th class learners transmitted  to the Class 1 the “Crystal of Knowledge” and ribbons with the school logo, which the latter tied to the branches of the tree branches a year ago in the Heritage yard by students, parents and teachers. For 12 months, the “symbol of knowledge” grew strong and took root in the fertile soil, just like the progress of the learners of the school.
 
Heritage International School in Chisinau is the first international school established in the country, registered at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova. Heritage is based on the belief that all children have the right to relevant, inclusive and holistic education that stimulates critical thinking, emotional intelligence and self-expression of each child, preparing learners to make a significant contribution to the development of the world we live in. The only Cambridge School in the country offers study opportunities for elementary and middle school learners, and soon – also for high school students.
